26 - We went a bit snowboard mad!!!

Powder board, Double Deck, Kneeflyer - who knew!!!

Well!!!

After a recent snowboard trip, we went down a massive snowboard shaped rabbit hole.

Check out these funky styles.

DoubleDeck Double Boards

The DOUBLEDECK® technology is based on a two sided connective board construction between the motherboard and the upper bow construction.

Whilst the motherboard is being constructed with its patented inverse concave bending system it alone can be bent up to 45 degrees in its length axis.

The patented convex pressure bow system mounted on top of the motherboard bridges the motherboard from tip to tail.

Advanced riders have the benefit with doubledeck® Snowboards that with the patented superslide railsystem the board gets a better pop whilst jumping and if landing improperly the doubledeck® corrects the wrong landing with its snapping back to the original position and avoids canting at all.

Different bow constructions with different flexes are being currently developed for versatile usage in various conditions.

Powder Boards

The Mountain Surfer is a next level powder board built to surf the earth without bindings. From backyard hills to full on backcountry descents, the Mountain Surfer offers a whole new perspective on riding powder.

Surf shaper Chris Christenson and Jeremy Jones designed the Mountain Surfer’s complex 3D contours using the same hydrodynamic principles Chris uses to design surf boards. The Mountain Surfer features a Spoon nose for float, a 3D center hull for improved glide and 3D stepped edges for turn precision. The Mountain Surfer has a sintered p-tex base, ABS sidewalls and a wood core but no metal edges or binding inserts. To keep you attached after a closeout barrel, the Mountain Surfer includes a foam deck pad and an eyebolt. The Mountain Surfer comes in two sizes: 142cm and 152cm.

Splitboards

A splitboard is essentially a normal snowboard which splits into two halves. These halves become skis for travelling uphill, or touring.

To enable the rider to walk uphill, adhesive-backed ‘skins’ are attached to the base of the skis to provide traction on the snow.

Once at the top of the slope, the rider removes the skins, attaches the two skis together and it transforms back into a snowboard, ready for a well-earned descent through untracked powder.

Basically, jibbing a lot of the type of riding you see in the park (except for the jumps). Anything that involves, rails, boxes, barrels, rocks, trees etc can all be called jibbing.

Archetype Quiver

The Archetype has cemented its reputation as a quiver essential, being the original model that inspired the creation of the Endeavor Powder Quiver.

The Archetype’s versatile construction and unique riding experience continues to turn heads and make waves. With an ability to throw down in any condition, the kicked swallow tail cuts through powder like a hot fork through ice cream yet it has the stability to pop a natural feature and land with confidence, producing a truly unique riding experience.

Asym Fish

Inspired by surf this dynamic shape is unlike anything else you have ever ridden. The unique outline utilizes varying edge lengths and sidecuts to assist in turn initiations and hold.

On the toe side, the longer edge towards the tail and nose give more edge hold on long drawn-out bottom turns, which puts more force and speed into your heel side turns without any effort thanks to the deeper sidecut and shorter contact points.

What that means is that while this board truly thrives on deep powder days, the fun shape also allows for aggressive carves on hard pack and powerful pop off side hits and wind lips.
