28 - Is this the world's smallest smart gym?

All-in-one pilayes & strength trainer

We have found the world's smallest smart gym, and the world's LARGEST gym.

It's huge!!!!!

Is this the world's smallest smart gym?

LIT have done a great job packaging what you need into a small gym. They are focussing on band related exercises which allows for a small footprint.

Counts reps on both left and right handles, then feeds that back to the on-screen metrics to tell you how you are doing, during LIVE classes.

At just $5 per month, the classes are cheap and you can gain access to hundreds of live and on-demand classes, custom programs, and premium metrics.

Basically, LIT have done a great job taking all the good things from other smart gym wearables and packaged it into something that takes up little space in the home.

Well done!

Now to the LARGEST gym in the world!

We did some pretty extensive research, and we hope we are right.

Offutt Field House, weighing in at a massive 220,000 sq ft, appears to take the gold medal!

The Offutt Field House is the largest fitness center in the Department of Defense. Offering a 0.4-mile running track, indoor swimming pool, racquetball courts, tactical fitness area, tennis courts, soccer pitch, basketball courts, volleyball courts, and children’s play area.

The Field House has a large selection of cardio, free weight, and resistance equipment.

It is difficult to get a image to show the scale of this thing, but if you look above you will see a frisbee court, and many, many, many lights heading back towards the gym, and other indoor courts.

Astonishing!

Do you need a Pec Pump?

Whoever wrote this kickstarter campaign, has some moments of word magic.

"Our pecs are the centrepieces of any toned and chiselled physique"

"Five steps to pumped up pecs"

It is a great little design. Using geometries and shapes to create a working gym product, rathe than pulleys, springs and pivots.

Nice work guys.

Quick Booty Workout? Use QuickBand

Kickstarter seems to be full of these quirky gym products at the moment (more to follow down below). With just a few tweaks here and there on the campaign, and reaching out to journalists these ideas could be really popular. At least Kit Radar tells you all.

If you have used a TheraBand equivalent around your knees for booty exercises, you will know they are a pain to get off, pain to get on and pain to get the right size / tension.

Well Darlene Calabrese has solved that pain point with her QuickBand and it looks good to us. Simple, speedy, quick and gets the job done.

Good luck Darlene, hope it goes well.

Super over-engineered golf divot tool

You might think that we are insulting this divot tool, but actually it's a compliment and the words the team at DivotKings use in their marketing campaigns.

DivotKings are trying to make boring sports equipment cool again, by over engineering.

Their divot toll even has a cigar holder!

57% more visible than standard bike lights

We love the guys at Redshift Sports. In fact, we believe we were the first retailer in the U.K. to stock them.

We love them because they take their designs seriously. Note that their lights are not "50%" better or "60%" better, they are exactly 57% better.

"The Arclight Pedals amplify your biological motion, making you up to 57% more visible to drivers than standard bike lights.

Powerful LEDs and long lasting rechargeable batteries ensure you will stand out and stay safe even on your longest ride, day or night."

Love it!

The new way to move

We love it when companies are out there to promote fun. And looking at the Blizwheel that is exactly what these are.

E-skates for each foot. These high performance brushless motors can propel you up to 15 mph and they last for 15 miles.

So that's an hour of fun!

With its smooth ride and compact design, you’ll never have to worry about getting stuck in traffic or finding a parking space again.

Super neat foldable design - which is reallyyyyyyyyyyy hard to do

Self-balancing e-scooter

Maybe it's just the large wheels and some careful placement of the motor and electronics, but making a scooter self-balancing is a great, often missed, innovation.

Well done Rolley for considering all aspects of the design. Red Dot Winner!!!
